UGC NET Admit Card 2023: National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET advance city intimation and dates 2023 for the Phase-4 exam on March 6, 2023, on the official website. Candidates can download their UGC NET Admit Card by logging into the official website with their required credentials. The Phase 3 exam will be conducted from March 11 and 12, 2023, for 4 subjects. The NTA extended the dates for the UGC NET exam for 13 subjects. According to the previous schedule, the exams were going to be conducted between March 7 to 10, 2023. Now, no exam will be conducted between March 7 to 10, 2024. It will be conducted from March 11, 2023. Earlier, The admit card, exam date, and city intimation slip for the UGC NET Phase 3 was released on March 2 and February 28, 2023, respectively. The UGC NET Phase 2 admit card was released on February 24, 2023.  The Phase 2 exam is being conducted from February 28, 2023, for 5 subjects. The UGC NET Phase 1 exam got over on February 24, 2023, for 57 subjects. The December cycle exam is being conducted from February 21 to March 10, 2023

Problems in downloading UGC NET Admit Card 2023

Incomplete UGC NET application form

The official website of NTA states that UGC NET admit cards will not be issued to candidates whose applications are found to be incomplete due to any reason such as a blurry photograph, unsigned application, etc.

Non-fulfillment of UGC NET eligibility criteria

Admit cards will also not be issued to candidates who do not fulfill the UGC NET eligibility 2023. Regarding the same, the official website states, “Issue of Admit Cards, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of the admission process.”

Incorrect credentials

In case, candidates forget their login credentials, they will not be able to download the admit card. In such a situation, candidates need to click on the “I can’t access my account” link in the admit card download window, which will help in the regeneration of the credentials.

Slow internet

In the case of no or slow internet, candidates will not be able to download the admit card. Therefore, candidates are advised to ensure a smooth internet connection before downloading the admit card.

• Do not forget to carry the admit card along with the following documents:
  • One passport-size photo (same as uploaded on the application form)
  • PWD certificate, if applicable
  • One original authorized photo ID (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card)
